Permanent Secretary’s Assistant Leads EU Team in Chonburi

          Today (November 30, 2018) at 10.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Somsak Apiwantakul to lead the EU Delegation on a visit to Chonburi, to attend Thailand-EU Labour Symposium. The party visited the Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc Baan Bung frozen food factory and watched a video on the implementation of Thai Labour Standards and other international standards, the E-trace system and the role of foreign workers in the Welfare Committee, and toured the factory. The session took place at the Regional Chonburi Skill Development Institute Area 3.
 
 
          At 13.30 hours, the party visited Chonburi Skill Development Institute Area 3 and EEC Labour Administration Center led by the Director of Chonburi Skill Development Institute 3. He spoke about the history of the high-tech training center, main customers, curriculums, trainee and personnel development with Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc. Representatives of EEC Labour Administration Center then took a tour of the center, talking about its history and introduced the One Stop Services (OSS) such as work permit applications, employment services, career guidance, skill development training, the introduction of benefits and legal rights.
