On Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 09.00 hours, the Phayao Provincial Labour Office, led by Phayao Provincial Labour Officer Ms. Kamonwan Boonyuen and staff from the Phayao Provincial Labour Office, to organize a project to honour H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, by labour volunteers to develop the hometown of Phayao Province for the 2022 fiscal year. The activities were combined with those to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’s 90th birthday on August 12, 2022. The activities were growing vegetables in a kitchen garden according to the philosophy of a sufficiency economy. Heads of government agencies and officers of departments under the Ministry of Labour in Phayao Province and subdistrict level labour volunteers in Pong District participated in the activity. The event was honoured by Mr. Akkadet Phasing, Head of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Na Prang Subdistrict Administration Organization, and Mr. Sawian Manochai, member of the Provincial Administrative Organization, Pong District, Area 3, who participated in planting vegetables in the kitchen garden. A total of 26 people participated in the event, which included handing vegetable seeds such as Thai coriander, eggplant, white cabbage, Chinese morning glory, and lentils to the labour volunteers from each subdistrict to promote the consumption of organic vegetables and to reduce household expenses. The activity took place around the house of Mr. Chakrabongse Madang, a labour volunteer of Na Prang Subdistrict, House No. 1, Moo 9, Na Prang Subdistrict, Pong District, Phayao Province.
