PM to attend 24th session of Human Rights Council next month

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will visit Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the 24th session of the Human Rights Council on September 9, 2013. In Geneva, the premier will deliver an opening speech to the session of the council and open a photo exhibition about Thailand’s roles as member of the United Nations. She will also meet and hold talks with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Director-General of United Nation Office at Geneva, during which she is expected to affirm Thailand’s determination to promote and protect rights of people.
