“Pol.Gen. Adul” Visits Thai Technical Trains and Views AI Showcase on Innovations of the Future

            The Labour Minister met and gave words of encouragement to young Thai technician trainees studying the operations of system automation to continue developing innovation and technology to support the future work in Thailand.

 

 

            On March 28, 2019, Labour Minister, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo; Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul; Director of the Department of Employment, Mrs. Petcharat Sinauy; and committee, visited Thai workers at Kanemi in Kanagawa province, Japan. The company is in the restaurant business that produces and distributes ready-to-eat sushi sold in supermarkets and convenience stores. At present, there are 1,322 employees, whereby this establishment accepts Thai technical trainees from North East Overseas (Thailand) since March 2013, by partnering with the AI Family Cooperative Society from the Business Matching Seminar in Tokyo in September 2012. The cooperation between JITCO, the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Employment, and Kanemi Company received a total of 932 Thai trainees to work in 15 factories. Currently, the Japanese government has allowed foreign workers to enter the production category for a period of 3 years and continue for 2 years, whereby the workers must pass skills assessments.

            On this occasion, Pol.Gen. Adul met and gave words of encouragement to the Thai workers by saying that everyone is a vital force to drive the country to stability, prosperity and sustainability, following the sufficient economy philosophy which will not leave anyone behind. He asked that everyone work hard and gain experience to utilize after returning to Thailand, with the expectation of one day becoming an entrepreneur in Thailand.

            The Labour Minister and committee observed the innovation and technology to support the future work at the Panasonic Center Tokyo, a Panasonic showroom center located in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. The company’s vision is “A Better Life, A Better World.” The center showcases and tests the use of various products for visitors to see how to use it, along with receiving comments and suggestions from visitors directly. This center is open for a study visit in 2 zones. The first floor is the Wonder Life-Box Zone which showcases future home innovations from 2020 to 2030, focusing on electrical appliances and furniture operating with automatic systems. The products aim to help family members, from seniors to young children, or people with disabilities to live more comfortably. The second is the Olympic and Paralympic Games zone which displays the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and also inserts the culture of Japan and learning system for those interested in the Olympics and the Olympic history.
