Prime Minister Commends Job Ready Center for Helping Employment of Over 25,000 Graduates

          On November 26, 2018, Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha listened to the results from the establishment of the Job Ready Center, which was presented by Labour Minister, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark and the ministry’s senior executives, which took place at the Banchakarn Building 1, Government Houses. The Job Ready Center was established by the Ministry of Labour in response to the 20-year national development strategy on human resources development to increase the competitiveness of the country towards Thailand 4.0.
          Eleven Job Ready Centers were open on July 19, 2018, together nationwide, centrally and regionally. The centers serve to provide guidance that suit the abilities and interests of users, assess readiness and professional aptitude, provide job matching between job seekers / employers both domestically and internationally, develop skills by providing training in various courses that are both short and long term, including protection and welfare and applications into the social security system to create a solid foundation for life.
          As for the results of operations, the centers open from July 19 to October 30, 2018 had 23,798 Bachelor Degree job applicants whereby 17,364 applicants have been placed in jobs. Furthermore, 2,064 people have received skills development and 8,441 have received welfare advice.
