On the 29th March 2016, representatives from Sankosha visited Mrs. Suchada Chicharoen, Minister Counselor (on labour) to consult the expansion of business in Thailand. Sankosha is a manufacturer of surge protection devises (SPD), which plans to establish an office in Thailand within April 2016. The company hopes that the Thai office will be a central distributor of its products in Asia. The Thai Labour Office in Japan provided the representatives with information on employment and permits in Thailand, with the Minister Counselor (on industrial issues) who also provided information on Thai industrial standards.
