On 12 April 2017 at 11.00, Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul chaired the traditional Thai ceremony of water pouring over the hands of elders, as a show of respect and blessing during for the Songkran Festival 2017. Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti, the ministry’s executives and officers also joined in the ceremony together at the Permanent Secretary’s lounge at the ministry’s building.
