Southern Provinces Prepare for “Stability, Prosperity and Sustainability Triangle” Project

         On 30 March, the Labour Minister will visit Yala to follow up progress on the “stability, prosperity and sustainability triangle” project, which is aimed to promote investment and enhance the lives of the local people. In the morning, the Labour Minister will acknowledge obstacles and advice from the private sector and relevant units, as well as present training materials to local authorities in the Southern provinces. The meeting will be held at the Southern Border Provinces Police Operation Center in Yala. From there the Labour Minister will present government operational guidelines to leaders of affiliated units in the Southern provinces comprising Yala, Narathiwas, Pattana, Songkhla and Satul. In the afternoon, the Labour Minister and committee will visit workers at Jibyoo Latex Company Limited, the Batong Immigration Point and the MOL Counter Service in Batong, Yala. 

The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General and spokesperson Mr. Ananchai Uthaipatanacheep said, “The Labour Minister gives great importance to preparing the workforce for economic development. In the Southern provinces, the “stability, prosperity and sustainability triangle” project has been launched to stimulate development which will trickle down to creation of employment, income and a better quality of living.”
