Thai Contestants Ready for Victory at 44th WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017

             On 29 September 2017 at 10.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti joined the press conference to publicize the 44th WorldSkills Competition, which took place at Crystal Room 2-4 at the Century Park Bangkok Hotel. The Ministry of Labour has arranged for 26 youths to compete in 24 skills competitions to compete at the 44th WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi from 14-19 October 2017. The 26 representatives will showcase Thailand’s capabilities at the global stage and promote Thai youths to view the importance of different professions in hopes promote motivation for self-development. The Ministry of Labour has hopes that the Thai competitors will bring back medals like they have done in the past.

       The 44th WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 will have a total of 52 skills competitions with 1,259 competitors from 68 countries.
