Thai public in Brunei are invited to attend the celebration of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday on 5 December, 2010.

        Office of Labour Affairs in Brunei and the Royal Thai Embassy cordially invites Thai public and workers to participate the celebration of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday by dressing in Thai traditional dresses. Also, all participants are requested to preserve Thai tradition, to exercise good public interest, to thoughtfully implement the philosophy of sufficient economy graciously given by His Majesty the King, and to be in unity. In the context of human development, His Majesty the King has given 3 principles as followed; first, to develop human and career path, people should focus on learning how to develop their career paths. Second, to develop community and living quality, the assistance within community should be established. Third, to promote and develop environment, all green businesses should be protected, the plantation and afforest campaign should be done and the patronage of desperate also should be exercised according to the royal working principle of Understand, Approach and Develop.
       On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday, there will be 3 events held on following dates; first, on 3 December, 2010, all Thai nationals will get together to record the blessing to His Majesty the King at The Empire Hotel. On 4 December, the Diplomatic corps and Brunei representatives will attend the formal ceremony held at The Empire Hotel. On 5 December, there will be a celebrations and felicitations to His Majesty the King by all Thai nationals at Ambassador’s residence.
Besides, Office of Labour Affairs and The Royal Thai Embassy invite participants to visit the exhibition of King’s multifarious duties and to sign a well-wishing message at The Royal Thai Embassy on 1 December, 2010 onwards.
      In this regard, Mr. Chatchai Amorntup, a Thai hydroponics operator, has shown his loyalty to The Royal Institution and Thai nation by preparing to plant approximately 1,000 marigolds in order to decorate the venue.
