จำนวนผู้ว่างงานเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2556 มีจำนวน 478,000 คน คิดเป็นอัตราว่างงาน 4.16% ลดลงจากเดือนตุลาคมที่ผ่านมา 9,000 คนหรือลดลง 0.08% ซึ่งในจำนวนนี้ เป็นผู้ว่างงานที่กำลังหางานเป็นครั้งแรก 6,000 คน ผู้ที่ต้องการเปลี่ยนงานใหม่เนื่องจากถูกปลดออก จำนวน 2,000 คน และผู้ที่ว่างงานเพราะการปิดกิจการ 1,000 คน ส่วนผู้ที่ว่างงานเนื่องจากหมดเทศกาลหรืองานชั่วคราวสิ้นสุดลง มีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้น 1,000 คน

23 December 2013, The Bureau of Statistics, DGBAS, released the latest unemployment rate in November 2013 that there are totally 11,019,000 employed persons increased by 23,000 in all lines of work during November. The highest increasing number falls to retail-wholesale business and hotel-restaurant business are 7,000 and 6,000 employed person increasing respectively.
The latest unemployment figures for November, showing that unemployment fell to 4.16%. According to DGBAS, unemployment totaled 478,000, down 9,000, or 0.08%, from October; involuntary unemployment due to business contractions or shutdowns in November declined by 2,000 and due to finishing seasonal job or temporary job are 1,000 persons .
