On Sunday 10 April 2011, the chief and officials of the Office of Labour Affairs in Kaohsiung along with Taiwanese Office of Labour Affairs held a Songkran Festivals for Thai workers in southern Taiwan. This year events were held in the 3 counties of Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Yunlin.
On Sunday 10 April 2011, the chief and officials of the Office of Labour Affairs in Kaohsiung along with Taiwanese Office of Labour Affairs held a Songkran Festivals for Thai workers in southern Taiwan. This year events were held in the 3 counties of Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Yunlin.
In the events, several activities were organized including, traditional Buddhism rituals held by Thai monks, sepak takraw competition, and Songkran’s water-pouring ceremony. During the events, the Office of Labour Affairs in Kaohsiung also delivered 15 bikes, funded by the Royal Thai Embassy in Taiwan, to Thai workers as an award for the winners of the sepak takraw competition, quiz competition and lucky draw.
