On 8 October2010, Mr.Dusit Wongnawa, head official of Thailand Trade and Economic Office Division, Kaohsiung joined the orientation of Thai labour under Direct Employment Project since Department of Employment, MOL, sent them to work with Formosa Heavy Industries Corp with free of employment service charge
In September 2010, Thailand Trade and Economic Office Division, Kaohsiung and Formosa Heavy Industries Corp went to Thailand to select Thai labours. After that 39 Thai labours traveled to Taiwan on 6 October 2010. The employer then arranged the orientation on 7-8 October 2010 and let them start working on 11 October 2010. The rest of approximately 50 people will follow to work then.
