The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Visits Krabi to Support the Community in Occupational Issues to Promote Jobs and Stable Incomes

          On August 17, 2022, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mrs. Bubpha Phanpeng, presided over the meeting of the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Krabi Province. The meeting acknowledged the implementation of the Ministry of Labour’s policy and the project to solve occupational issues, obstacles, and suggestions. The occasion took place at the Krabi Provincial Labour Office’s meeting room, 4th floor, Ministry of Labour, Government Center, Krabi Province.
          From there, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour and the committee visited the area to meet and encourage members of occupational groups from the Ministry of Labour’s occupational project in Krabi Province. The project promotes independent occupations, jobs, and stable incomes. They looked at products from the Bagan Batik group, which makes products from tie-dyed fabrics such as shirts, pieces of fabric, displays with royal patterns, and cloth patterns. They also visited the Lai Sen Group, which makes woven products from plastic threads, bags, and knitted hats. The visit took place at the Batik Bagan Group, Ao Luek Noi Subdistrict, Ao Luek District, Krabi Province. The chairman of the group, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ao Noi Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the community headman, labour volunteers, representatives of the Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital, and other departments in the area gave a welcoming. The Provincial Commerce Office, the Provincial Community Development Office, the Social Development and Human Security Office representative, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Krabi Province also participated in the event.
