The Permanent Secretary of Labour Chairs the Social Security Committee (14th) Meeting No. 14/2024.

On October 8, 2024, at 09.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, chaired the Social Security Committee Meeting (No. 14) No. 14/2024. The Deputy Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, Acting Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, Ms. Jirapa Boonrat, Efficiency Advisor from the Social Security Office, Ms. Nanthinee Traipasiri, and related agencies attended the meeting at Somkiat Chaiyasriwong Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Multipurpose Building, Social Security Office and online.

The meeting considered the adjustment of the criteria for the cost of Panel Reactive Antibody (PRA) testing in the case of kidney transplantation for the preparation of recipients from brain-dead donors, the amendment of the definition of “initial assistance” according to the announcement of the Medical Committee on the payment of initial assistance to insured persons who have suffered damages from receiving medical services, and the adjustment of the criteria and rates of medical services in the case of rabies vaccine and immunoglobulin costs. It also considered the request for approval to allocate additional funds for the administration of the Social Security Office in 2024, 3 projects totaling 18,115,950 Baht, the draft indicators and criteria for evaluating the performance of the revolving fund for the 2025 fiscal year of the Social Security Fund, the appointment of the Social Security Fund Investment Management Subcommittee, the guidelines for considering the adjustment of benefits to income replacement in the case of childbirth for insured persons under Section 40, and the guidelines for evaluating the requirements for medical certificates for outpatients of insured persons under Section 40.

Before the meeting, the Social Security Committee (No. 14) also congratulated the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, on assuming the position.
