On 1 June 2017 at 4.30 at the Minister’s lounge, Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul welcomed Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand H.E. Mr. Nguyen Tat Thanh on courtesy call to resign from his appointment. The Vietnamese Ambassador thanked the Labour Minister for good relations between the Thai Ministry of Labour and the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. General Srichai also gave words of thanks for honouring the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej in the CLMVT High-Level Meeting on Safe Migration.
