On Sunday 13rd April 2014, CDR. Wittawat Kuprasert, Consul (labour affairs) joined Songkran Festival at Bhudathamaram in the morning and Mekthamwanaram Temple in the afternoon (Taiwo) and on Sunday 20th April 2014 at Hongkongthamaram Temple. In this regard, Thai temple in Hongkong annually holds Songkran Festival to keep on Thai tradition and cultural. The activities include praying to Buddha, giving food offering to Buddhist monk, robe offering, listening to sermon and pouring water to Buddha image as well as pouring water to elderly. On this occasion, he took this opportunity to meet Thai workers working in Hongkong and publicize missions of Office of Labour Affairs in Hongkong.
